Kanye West announced his “Saint Pablo Tour” on Tuesday, confirming a recent Extreme Entertainment bust.
Less than three weeks ago, RadarOnline announced in a headline, “On The Brink Of Divorce? Kim Kardashian Forbids Husband Kanye West From Going On Tour.” In the accompanying “exclusive” (cough), the webloid claimed Kardashian “does not want” West “keeping up with his fans,” and has “forbidden him from going on tour this year.” A so-called “family insider” was quoted as saying, “Though touring pays very well, she would rather Kanye be with her than making big bucks on the road.”
The story went on to allege Kardashian feared West would cheat on her if he went on tour. And to back up its claims, the site pointed out that West didn’t have many upcoming concerts scheduled. But, of course, RadarOnline was entirely off base.
Extreme Entertainment exclusively busted the report. A rep for Kardashian told us the notion that Kardashian was stopping her husband from touring was 100 percent “false.” And we were right.
Not even a month after RadarOnline’s flat-out wrong story, West unveiled his “Saint Pablo Tour,” which will kick off in late August, with North American dates scheduled through October. Extreme Entertainment is sure the webloid will twist this to spin yet another divorce story, particularly once the shows get underway. But we’ll still be here to point out the lies.
