The odds are still inThe Hunger Games’ favor.
Early estimates have the kids-killing-kids blockbuster holding on to win its fourth straight weekend at the box office, topping new releases including The Three Stoogesand The Cabin in the Woods.
The Hunger Games is on pace for $20 million, enough to beat a $17 million opening for Stooges and $13 million for Cabin.
Two movies in their second weeks of release — American Reunion and Titanic 3D — will duke it out for fourth place.
Both films are tracking toward $10 million.
After that comes Lockout ($7 million) and 21 Jump Street ($6.5 million) in the #6 and #7 spots.
Snow White fantasy Mirror Mirror and Wrath of the Titans are both expected to hit $6 million, with The Lorax rounding out the Top 10 at approximately $3.5 million
