Michael McKean is in the hospital after being hit by a car in New York on Tuesday.
The actor was struck when a vehicle reportedly jumped the curb as he was walking on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
He suffered a broken leg, as well as cuts to his face.
McKean, best known for his roles in “Laverne & Shirley” and This Is Spinal Tap, is currently starring on Broadway in “The Best Man.”
The accident will cause him to miss a performance for the first time in his career.
