Spring Breakers’ very own Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine are ready to bare it all. The four-girl troop pose as college students who attempt to rob a restaruant in hopes to pay off their spring break trip. Eventually, the girls land themselves in jail, only to get bailed out by a drug dealer named Alien (James Franco). He ends up stringing the girls into his own lifestyle filled with drugs, sex, and violence. The sassy group opened up to Interview Magazine to discuss their thoughts on the upcoming film.
Selena Gomez Learned To Smoke On Set:
“I was getting kind of repetitive in terms of the roles I was picking, and I really wanted to do something that was completely different,” she says. “It was a mark thing for me—like, ‘This is what I want to be doing.’ I want to be taking myself seriously as an actress, and this was definitely a stretch.” She adds: “I mean, I’d never smoked a cigarette before in my entire life. It was really funny—they had to show me how to do it.”

Spring Breakers “Isn’t Appropriate” For Teen Fans Says Ashley Benson:
“Pretty Little Liars‘” star Ashley Benson recalls: ”Harmony wanted to break us all out of the good-girl mold. For Selena, Vanessa, and me, our audience is all in their teens or younger, so they’re not even going to be able to see this when it comes out—it’s not appropriate.”
