Chris Brown was NOT arrested for gun possession at the 2012BET Awards on Sunday, despite widespread reports.
According to X17 Online, the performer was supposedly busted for the weapon at The Shrine Auditorium, where hepicked up the trophy for “Entertainer of the Year,” among other honors.
The site claims a “guest of the show” had “confirmed” that Brown was allegedly “detained by police and taken to the local LAPD station.”
It is 100% NOT true.
A rep for Brown was with the superstar all night and tells Gossip Cop there was NO arrest and “Nothing of the sort happened.”
