Jay-Z The Mastermind Behind Rihanna And Chris Brown Duet?

If you believe the online rumors, Jay-Z has had his crosshairs on Chris Brown’s back since 2009 when the R&B singer brutally attacked Jay’s protege, Rihanna.
Tabloids claim Hov threatened to end Brown’s career, and even boycotted award shows if Brown was invited. So it comes as a surprise to us that Jay encouraged Rihanna to collaborate with her ex on “Nobody’s Business,” a song off her latest album, Unapologetic.

But that’s just what Roc Nation executive Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith claims in a new interview withComplex magazine. “We don’t focus on the media, so it was never a question,” he says. “It’s all about the music. Everything else doesn’t even play a part in the studio.”
That being said, Ty Ty adds the song wasn’t made with Brown in mind. “The-Dream didn’t write it for them as a duet. Jay-Z and I were in the car together listening to the song, and we thought it would be a great duet. It sounds dope. It feels good. That’s how Chris ended up on the song.”
If you haven’t heard it, you can listen to “Nobody’s Business” below.
