Joe Wright Being Considered to Direct Fifty Shades of Grey: Report

Joe Wright is reportedly being considered to direct Fifty Shades of Grey.
The Hollywood Reporter says Wright does not yet have the job, but is the current top choice among the directors vying for the role.
Maybe yes, maybe no — it’s still too early in the process.
Still, the British filmmaker has previously made four movies with Focus Features, which bought the rights to E L James’ erotic novel along with Universal Pictures.
Wright’s past work includes AtonementPride & PrejudiceAnna Karenina and Hanna.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Gus Van Sant shot a sex scene with Alex Pettyfer in a bid to direct Fifty Shades of Grey.
Kelly Marcel is penning the screenplay, while The Social Network’s Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti are producing the movie.
Do you think Wright would be a good choice to direct the racy film?
