Paris Hilton cried while watching The Bling Ring during its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday.
Seriously.
The heiress, whose home was among the many celebrity pads burglarized by the teens in real life, told New York magazine at the screening’s after-party, “I was really emotional watching it. During some parts of it, I literally had tears in my eyes and I wanted to cry.”
Hilton shared, “I knew what happened with the burglaries, but I had never actually seen it — so watching it happen, I was like, ‘Oh my God, this really happened to me. These kids were really in my house and did this to me.’”
“It’s so violating. It just made me really angry and upset, and when I see these kids, I want to, like, slap them,” she added.
But the party girl, who lent director Sofia Coppola her actual home to film scenes in, did say she enjoyed seeing her house on the big screen.
New York magazine says her mansion has an actual “night club room” and is filled with pillows and portraits emblazoned with Hilton’s face.
The star told the mag, “That house is like my dream house. I worked so hard on every detail.”
