Tom Cruise has officially signed on for Mission: Impossible 5.
The actor will star in and produce the fifth installment of the action movie franchise, Paramount Pictures announced on Tuesday.
Cruise will reprise his role as Ethan Hunt in the film, which is expected to hire a writer and director shortly.
The franchise’s last movie, Mission: Impossible 4 – Ghost Protocol, was the highest grossing in the series.
