“Maria’s Tantrum Over a Table,” reads the headline of a wildly inaccurate Star story about Maria Menounos.
According to the tabloid, the talented “Extra” host “made a fuss at the Gracie Awards Gala on May 21 over her seating assignment.”
The magazine then quotes a supposed “partygoer” as saying, “She was a complete diva,” and claims she was “rude to the staff” because she thought she “should be sat in front” at the event.
Everything about the Star story is WRONG.
First off, Menounos was seated in the front row at table number 1.
More importantly, notes an insider to Gossip Cop, the always cool Menounos “would never care where she sits because she’s backstage mostly” working anyway.
Still, event coordinators confirm that the drama portrayed by the tabloid “did not occur.”
Star has been way off with its “reporting” this week.
