After word broke last week that Man of Steel Henry Cavill and Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco were a hot new couple, their romance seems to have fizzled before it ever got hot.
On June 14, Kaley posted a picture showing she was going gaga over the hunk.
Ten days ago it was first reported that the two were a blissful new couple and that Henry had a longtime crush on the People’s Choice Awards hostess. Then the couple were actually spotted together over the weekend in a grocery store parking lot where – surprise – there just happened to be paparazzi waiting for them!
The instant coupling received plenty of questionable reactions throughout the webisphere that the pairing was purely for publicity - the two share the same P.R. agency.
Not to mention the fact that in May, Henry joined his then-girlfriend of nearly a year, Gina Carano, at the premiere of her movie Fast and the Furious 6.
Henry was spotted solo throughout his Man of Steel worldwide promotion throughout the month of June, but no word of a breakup with Carano. And by the start of July he suddenly jumped into a new relationship with an LA based TV actress whom he had no previous connection to. The whole timeline was somewhat unbelievable. And most of the “proof” of their short time as a couple was a carefully orchestrated photo opportunity where they were holding hands and many shots of Kaley leaving various Starbucks carrying two cups of java – meaning one must be for Henry.
For what it’s worth, the former couple isn’t even in the same country together anymore. The 30-year-old movie hunk is in Calgary, Alberta right now where he’s attending his brother’s wedding on Saturday.
Oh well, they’ll always have that magical trip to Gelson’s market to remember.
