Lady Gaga and Azealia Banks seem to be feuding… over a mermaid costume.
After Gaga donned a seashell bikini while performing at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday and then urged fans on Twitter to wear “seashells” and “starfish” to her upcoming London show, Banks complained that the pop star was copying her own concert themes.
Banks responded, “@ladygaga hmmmm sounds alot like Azealia Banks’ mermaid balls.”
The “212″ singer, who has been known to sport mermaid costumes at her shows, wrote in another post, “Of COURSE gaga wants to play mermaid again….. Pffft.”
She added, “Not picking a fight. Just all looks soo familiar…. To me.”
Gaga appeared to hit back at Banks by tweeting a GIF of Ariel crying in The Little Mermaid(see below).
The “Applause” singer and Banks collaborated on two songs in 2012, but the tracks were never released.
