Sandra Bullock is clearing up renewed tabloid rumors that George Clooney is pursuing her as the pair promote Gravity at the Venice Film Festival.
On Wednesday, The Sun reported that Clooney was “making eyes” at his co-star during the film’s premiere.
But Bullock says they’re just friends.
The actress told the Associated Press, “He was not making eyes. Maybe cross-eyes, but that is about the extent of his [googly] eyes.”
Bullock added that the stars both have enough “dirt” on each other to command “a level of respect and understanding.”
Clooney also said the pair is just old friends.
