Jon Gosselin Shoots Gun Warning at Paparazzo, Speaks Out On Incident

The former Jon and Kate Plus 8 reality star reportedly got heated when a female photographer tried to take pictures of the cabin where he lives, TMZ reports. TMZ obtained photos of the incident of Gosselin pulling a gun out of his back pocket of his pants and aggressively walking toward her.
"At the time this photograph was taken, I was at his home on my own private property that is protected from public access and public view. The paparazza followed me well off of the public roads and was trespassing on my private property when I confronted her," Gosselin tells Us in a statement. "I informed the paparazza that she was trespassing on my private property and instructed her to leave.

The paparazza refused to leave and continued harassing me and invading my privacy by trying to take pictures of me and my home. I am licensed to carry a concealed handgun, which I then withdrew and used to fire a warning shot away from the paparazza, which is well within my rights under Pennsylvania law when someone is trespassing on private property."
He added: "At this time I have not made a decision on whether I will press trespassing charges against the paparazza, however, I do encourage her and other would-be paparazzi to contact local Pennsylvania law enforcement so they are informed about the a landowner’s legal rights to protect their families, their property, and themselves against trespassers.”
Dressed in all black and sneakers, the 36-year-old father of eight apparently yelled at the woman and followed her until she got back on the main road. The photographer later confessed that she followed Gosselin onto the dirt roads, but also has plans to report the incident to police.
It has been a tough week for Gosselin, who has made headlines for waiting tables after the demise of his marriage and TLC series, and that he has "no relationship" with his ex-wife Kate Gosselin. But as a source clarifies to Us Weekly, the star isn't "struggling financially" at all.
"Everyone is struggling right now -- he's not a millionaire waiting tables - but he is making ends meet," a source previously told Us. "It just worked out that he needed a job and they needed someone. It's flexible with his custody agreement," the insider added. "He is looking for a [full-time] IT job -- he's not going to sit around and wait unemployed."
