Robin Williams Crushes Michael J. Fox In Their Returns To Network TV

It was a head to head battle of two beloved former sitcom stars, but apparently far more viewers were ready to welcome Robin Williams back to TV than they were to Michael J. Fox.
Williams’ CBS ad-agency comedy The Crazy Ones had a whopping 15.6 million viewers among adults 18-49 at 9 p.m. In the same time slot over on NBC, The Michael J. Fox Show had only 7.2 million viewers.  Given, The Crazy Ones had nearly 20 million viewers from The Big Bang Theory‘s monster lead-in, but it still beat Fox’s family sitcom by over double the audience.

Williams is returning to network TV for the first time in over 30 years when he starred in Mork & Mindy.  Fox retired from 90′s sitcom Spin City after his long run on Family Ties to manage his battle with Parkinson’s Disease but has since made remarkable progress.
