RadarOnline is spreading a false story linking Zac Efron to Charlie Sheen and alleged drug parties.
The outlet claims the actors were introduced by a mutual friend earlier this year, and that their supposed bonding accelerated Efron’s “downward spiral into the world of drugs.”
A so-called “insider” tells RadarOnline, “Zac was in Charlie’s inner circle for a few months earlier this year. The two became very good friends. Zac was spending a lot of time at Charlie’s Beverly Hills mansion and they were definitely partying together, sometimes for days at at time.”
This is 100 percent false.
Extreme Entertainment has learned that Efron went to Sheen’s house once — for a Super Bowl party two years ago.
“Zac visited Charlie on the set of Anger Management at least a dozen times,” says the webloid’s source. “The two would hole up in Charlie’s trailer when he wasn’t filming.”
That is absolutely not true.
A source close to Sheen informs Extreme Entertainment that Efron came to the Anger Managementset once, about nine months ago, and that RadarOnline’s allegations are completed fabricated.
It’s true that Efron entered rehab earlier this year and has struggled with substance abuse.
But RadarOnline’s completely unsubstantiated, untrue attempt to turn Efron’s issue into a colorful, scandalous story involving Sheen is bogus.
