Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry is engaged!
Toronto Blue Jays baseball player J.P. Arencibia proposed to the singer on Monday.
They plan to wed next summer.
Perry tells The Tennessean that Arencibia popped the question beneath an oak tree at her parents’ home in Greeneville.
The couple first met in February 2012 and began dating a few months later.
“I’ve never felt that with anyone before,” she tells the newspaper. “He’s just a really gentle soul. He balances me for sure.”
