Justin Bieber released his new single All Bad on Monday, and its lyrics immediately made fans wonder if he was singing about his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez’s BFF Taylor Swift. Taylor and the Biebs reportedly didn’t get along and Taylor was supposedly thrilled when Selena and Justin ended it for good.
Now the 19-year-old Baby singer seems to confirm that yes, the song is throwing some hate Taylor’s way after a fan tweeted “I think Justin was shading Taylor in #AllBad” and Justin — to the collective gasp of the Belieber world — retweeted that statement. Justin eventually took down his retweet from his page but it was too late…by then it had been retweeted over 7,000 times.
The lyrics aren’t exactly cryptic, he pretty much spells out how he doesn’t like girls conspiring to bad mouth a guy. Here’s a sample of some of the lyrics:
“It’s another, if it ain’t worth it. Instigators, like putting fire on propane…the wrong thing, they’ll be working about”
“Ooh you know females..And how they like to run their mouths”
“Misery loves company, don’t let them change your mood”
“Between us, they wanna come in. Worst enemy, so they try to be your friend”
“Wanna be everything I oughtta be to you. Envy, same thing as jealousy. Jealous of you.”
We can’t wait for the inevitable song that Taylor is going to pen about Justin’s musical diss towards her.
