Paul Walker’s fatal car accident over the weekend continues to be the subject of scrutiny and speculation, with some reports of a mechanical failure and other rumors suggesting the crash came during a street race.
Now new footage purportedly showing the moment of impact has surfaced.
The clip was recorded by a roof-mounted camera near the accident site, and it shows the vehicle’s final moment before crashing.
After the Porsche’s collision, a fireball erupts, sending up black smoke.
While the video is difficult to watch, it is also the best documentation so far of the incident that took the lives of Walker and driver Roger Rodas as investigators try to piece together what happened.
