Several weeks ago, Saturday Night Live debuted the character Jebediah Atkinson, a comically harsh newspaper critic based on the real-life panning of Abraham Lincoln‘s Gettysburg Address. The bit was so funny that the character returned tonight, sans a topical peg, to trash beloved Christmas specials like A Charlie Brown Christmas (“Charlie Brown, there’s a pube on your forehead.”), Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,Frosty the Snowman, and others, plus Christmas movies like It’s a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol.
