The Star Trek star was busted on March 1 with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit after being stopped during a routine check near the town of Methven.
Pine has been shooting Z for Zachariah in New Zealand.
A local newspaper cites the manager of a local bar as saying that Pine had been drinking beer at the establishment in the hours before his arrest to celebrate the end of filming.
He’s scheduled to make his first court appearance on Monday.
