Vin Diesel posted a film still (see photo top) to Facebook on Tuesday, writing, ”The transition into that Dom state of mind has always been an interesting one… only this time there is added purpose, a collective goal to make this the best one in the series.”
“P.s. The long awaited completion of Seven, begins…,” he added.
Universal says filming will restart on March 31.
As Extreme Entertainment previously reported, the movie went on hiatus in the aftermath of Walker’s fatal car crash last fall, giving his co-stars time to grieve and writers time to figure out how to rework the script.
Walker’s character Brian will reportedly be retired and written out of the franchise using footage shot before his tragic death.
The film, originally slated to be released this July, is now scheduled to open on April 10, 2015.
