Full House Might Be Coming Back

(ABC)
“Full House” might be coming back.
Warner Bros. Television isreportedlyconsidering a plan to revive the beloved 1987-1995 sitcom — with some of the original cast members involved.
According to TV GuideJohn Stamos is spearheading efforts to launch a new version of the show with original creator Jeff Franklinand executive producer Bob Boyett.
The outlet says that Candace Cameron Bureand Jodie Sweetin, who played sisters D.J.and Stephanie Tanner, are on board with the proposed new project, as is Andrea Barber, who played annoying neighbor Kimmy Gibbler.
Bob Saget and Dave Coulier, who played Stamos’ pals and fellow adults Danny Tannerand Joey Gladstone on the series, are described as being “involved.”
Here is what Extreme Entertainment has learned.
First of all, this is a separate rumor than the April Fools hoax perpetrated last year.
There is actual legitimacy to the current round of reports.
That said, there is NOT yet a deal to revive “Full House.”
Extreme Entertainment has spoken with an insider who confirms that Stamos was indeed involved in pitching a revival of the show last year, with an eye toward the 90/10 model adopted by shows like “Anger Management” (if the first 10 episodes hit a predetermined ratings mark, the network immediately picks up an additional 90 episodes).
However, we’ve learned that Stamos is notinvolved in any current round of studio pitches.
The insider tells Extreme Entertainment that there may indeed be new “Full House” revival talks, “but not with [Stamos].”
Could he still come on board, even if he’s not leading the charge? Could the show come back with original cast members but in an updated form, like the wildly successful “Boy Meets World” continuation “Girl Meets World”?
We’ll have updates.
Would you like to see “Full House” come back?
