A life-size statue of Amy Winehouse was unveiled in London on Sunday, on what would have been the singer’s 31st birthday.

The bronze sculpture, on display in the Camden Town neighborhood of north London, bares a striking resemblance to the late star, complete with her signature beehive hairdo.
Winehouse’s parents attended the unveiling, an event her father Mitch called “incredibly emotional.”
“It is like stopping her in a beautiful moment in time,” he said. “We really hope Amy’s fans love the statue.”
The figure, created by Scott Eaton, will be a permanent memorial in Camden’s Stable Market.
Winehouse died in 2011 from alcohol poisoning.
