Benjamin McKenziehad a bad birthday.
The actor turned 36 on Friday, but had to go to the hospital after hitting his head on the set of his highly anticipated new show “Gotham.”
McKenzie documented the experience on Instagram (see right and below).
He wrote, “Happy Birthday to me. Fight sequence gone awry. Don’t ram your head into concrete pillars kids. #gotham.”
Sounds like good advice.
Sharing a picture of the bloody gash on his head (see below), McKenzie noted, “Holy concrete wall, Batman! #gotham.”
But everything ended up being OK.
“Doc Sherman at New York-Presbyterian, you are a career saver,” wrote the actor. “Thanks for stitching me up nice. Back to work Monday. #gotham.”
