Jesse Kovacs easily had one of the most dramatic exits inBachelor spin-off history during this season on Bachelor In Paradise, and now the reality star is opening up about the experience.
Kovacs voluntarily left Tulum, Mexico claiming he didn’t feel a connection with any of them women on the show, but the BIPvillain admits he has several regrets about how he handled the situation and how he treated his “love interest,” Christy Hansen, on the show.
Kovacs tells CupidsPulse, “I feel like trying to explain what happened on the episode would be a cop-out. I can’t blame anything on editing.” He goes on, “There were certain things that were suggested that never happened, but all the statements made by me and others really were said.”
And no one can forget Kovacs being called out for his bad boy behavior by Christy, Michelle Money, and Lacy Faddoul during his exit, but Kovacs says, “I have no idea why they were upset after I left. I never wanted a drama-filled confrontation. I just wanted to leave.”
Jesse insists he “never had the intention of being disrespectful,” adding, “I made some pretty stupid statements about Christy, and I feel horrible. I acted like a dick, and Christy wanted to let me know.”
