No Good Deed Takes Top Spot In Box Office Debut [UPDATED]

No Good Deed won the weekend box office.

The thriller starring Idris Elba and Taraji P.Henson raked in $24.5 million to grab the top spot.

Dolphin Tale 2 finished in second place with $16.5 million, while Guardians of the Galaxy took in another $8 million and secured third place.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Let’s Be Cops came in fourth and fifth places with $4.8 million and $4.3 million, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 10 were The Drop ($4.2 million), If I Stay ($3.2 million), The November Man ($2.7 million), The Giver ($2.6 million) and The Hundred-Foot Journey ($2.4 million).
