Iggy Azalea is now in the middle of a divorce battle with Jefe Wine(aka Hefe Wine, akaMaurice Williams) — even though she claims the two werenever married.
Wine, who says he made a sex tape with Azalea, has filed divorce documents in Texas, claiming that he and Azalea had a common-law marriage.
According to the filing obtained by TMZ, Wine and Azalea “agreed to be married, holding themselves out as man and wife and began residing together in the State of Texas on or about September, 2008.”
But a rep for Azalea says she did not hold herself out as Wine’s wife and was nevermarried to him.
Wine is hoping a judge will officially recognize the marriage and divorce — declaring that half of the music she produced during their time together becomes “community property” that could be divided in half.
Azalea is obviously opposed to such a judgment.
