12 Years A Slave actress Lupita Nyong’o flubs up at the Oscars.
While giving out the award for for “Best Supporting Actor,” Lupita accidentally called the iconic “Oscar” the “Actor.”
The actor is the award given out by the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Lupita quickly recovered after the slip up and gave away the award to JK Simmons from the movie Whiplash.
She looks breathtaking in her white, open-back custom dress by Calvin Klein with 6,000 pearls and Nicholas Kirkwood heels.
Francisco Costa, women’s creative director of Calvin Klein Collection, told Vogue, “Lupita has become a close friend of the house over the last year. From the onset, I wanted the dress to be graphic, yet warm and luxurious.”
She explained, “We looked at a variety of different pearls—South Sea, iridescent, and natural—and decided that the natural pearls looked the most beautiful.”
It was an unadulterated success.
