Billy Ray Cyrus has joined the fun, mocking the incessant pregnancy rumors swirling around his daughter Miley. Late on Friday, the country singer set Twitter ablaze when he wrote, “I’m going to be a grandfather. Call me Papaw!” For nearly two hours, speculation ran rampant, with many people believing that latest baby buzz about Miley could be true. But then Billy Ray got to the punchline.
He tweeted, “Yep… Papaw Cyrus,” accompanied by the same fake ultrasound picture Miley herself posted earlier this week, showing the pop star “pregnant” with pizza (see below). In other words, anyone who believed Billy Ray was legitimately revealing some Miley baby bombshell got seriously faked out.
Magazines are endlessly publishing phony pregnancy stories about Cyrus. Life & Style has been the worst recent offender, with several totally bogus reports implying that she’s carrying Patrick Schwarzenegger’s baby. She’s not. Extreme Entertainment has consistently and accurately shot down the pregnancy stories, and we’re glad to see Cyrus and her dad having fun at the tabloids’ expense, too.
Pizza, of course, is a running theme in Cyrus’ Instagram pictures, and a helpful fan created the fake “pizza baby” sonogram that amused both the pop star and her famous dad.Extreme Entertainment wishes the tabloids’ “real” stories about an alleged pregnancy weren’t an even bigger joke than this photo.
