Lil Twist Charged With Six Felonies In Chris Massey Attack, Arrest Warrant Issued

Lil Twist has reportedly been charged with six felonies stemming from last November’s attack on Chris Massey.
As Extreme Entertainment reported at the time, Twist allegedly beat Massey with brass knuckles during a dispute at a party. The incident took place at Massey’s brother Kyle’s home in Los Angeles, with Twist getting kicked out following a verbal argument. Twist is said to have then returned with four other men, and became violent before stealing Massey’s cell phone and wallet. Massey was taken to a hospital for treatment, but the extent of his injuries was not disclosed.
Now the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has reportedly charged Twist with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, as well as battery, grand theft, burglary, and making criminal threats. If convicted on all charges, he faces up to 25 years in prison. First, however, Twist needs to be arraigned in the case, after which he’ll enter a plea. TMZ reports there is a warrant out for his arrest.
Twist has had a number of legal issues in the past. As Extreme Entertainment reported, in 2013 he was twice pulled over in one of pal Justin Bieber’s vehicles, with the second time leading to an arrest for DUI. He was also accused of battery by a woman who claimed Twist got violent with her at a Bieber house party.
Bieber and Twist had a falling out that same year after the rapper went on a rant about Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun. The pair later reconciled, and released a song together this past January. Bieber, however, was not at all involved with the Massey incident.
