Tori Spelling is slamming reports that she’s in the midst of a new medical crisis. A number of outlets published wildly speculative stories over the past couple of days after Spelling’s husband Dean McDermott brought her to the Encino Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles on Friday.
HollywoodLife screamed, “Tori was raced to the emergency room,” wondering about her alleged “mystery illness.” The Daily Mail claimed Spelling was “seeking treatment for an unknown condition” and published several photos showing how “pale and tired” she looked.
But Spelling dismissed the hysteria on Twitter on Saturday. She wrote, “I wish the media would stop making it so dramatic/scary 4 my family, friends,& fans… I have horrific migraines. I’m ALWAYS open about that!” In other words, there’s no catastrophic mystery illness.
Last October, the actress and reality TV star was hospitalized with what turned out to be bronchitis, sinusitis and pneumonia, from which she recovered after a much-covered hospital stay.
