Mila Kunis NOT Refusing To Cast Ashton Kutcher In Sitcom, Despite Report

Mila Kunis is not refusing to cast husband Ashton Kutcher in a sitcom she’s producing, despite a ridiculous new tabloid report. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively correct this story. We’re told it’s simply “not true.”
The actress launched Orchard Farm Productions last year, and is currently developing a TV show titled “Champion: The Jeff Beekman Story,” a comedy about an underachieving family man. According to OK!, Kunis told ABC executives that her husband’s name should not be put on a list of possible actors to star in the upcoming series.
A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “It’s a comedy about a stay-at-home dad, which would be perfect for him, but she wants to be independent.” The supposed tipster adds the actress, “doesn’t want to piggyback off Ashton’s success.” Of course, this isn’t the least bit true, and OK! has terrible timing, because it was just announced that Kunis and Kutcher are set to work together very soon.
As Extreme Entertainment reported earlier this month, Kutcher will guest-star on the upcoming season of “Family Guy,” the animated comedy for which Kunis voices one of the main characters. Not to mention, the actress appeared in an April 2014 episode of “Two and a Half Men,” in which she and Kutcher poked fun at their real-life relationship. Clearly, the happily married couple enjoys working together.
Regardless, no casting announcements have been made for “Champion: The Jeff Beekman Story,” but if Kutcher doesn’t star, it will have absolutely nothing to do with his wife not wanting him on the show.
