Rihanna performed “Love On The Brain” at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. Check out the video below!
“Love On The Brain” is off her latest album,Anti. Earlier this month, the record became the first of 2016 to go double platinum, as certified by the RIAA. It also includes the songs “Work,” “Kiss It Better, and “Needed Me.”
Rihanna is currently in the middle of her “Anti World Tour.” She last performed in Atlanta this past Wednesday. Now the singer has a bit of a break before the European leg starts in mid-June.
Rihanna went into tonight’s BBMAs ceremony nominated for four awards, including Top Female Artist. In that category, she’s up against, Adele, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift. The other nods are for Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Album, and Billboard Chart Achievement.
Prior to tonight, Rihanna had already won 14 Billboard Music Awards over the years, dating back to 2006. That year she took home Top Female Artist, which she won again in 2011. The most recent victories came in 2013, tied to the Unapologetic album. That same year, she also took home Crossover Artist of the Year at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.
