Dwayne Johnson ‘GMA’ Interview: ‘Central Intelligence,’ Kevin Hart Chemistry And Bullying (VIDEO)

Dwayne Johnson appeared on Thursday’s “Good Morning America,” during which he discussed his new movie Central Intelligence, his chemistry with co-star Kevin Hart, the best way to address bullying, and more. Watch the full “GMA” interview below!
“We wanted to make sure that we delivered a big action movie that had great comedy… but also open up dialogue about bullying,” the actor told anchor Michael Strahan about his new movie. Johnson, a.k.a. The Rock, of course is one of the most successful WWE wrestlers of all time, but he admitted on the morning talk show, “I was bullied when I was in junior high school.”
Johnson added, “The key to bullying is to communicate because not everybody has the gumption to hit a bully back or be physical.” Instead, the actor recommended that young people confide in their teachers and family members about the issue. “Ultimately what we want to do is make sure that action is taken and the bullying stops,” Johnson noted.
Johnson went on to call his Central Intelligence co-star Hart the “biggest comedic rock star on the planet,” adding, “but the best thing about Kevin… he’s the kind of movie star that checks his ego at the door because he just wants to make a good movie.” The wrestler-turned-actor admitted, however, that the two are “ultra competitive” on social media as far as making entertaining Instagram videos and sending out funny tweets.
