Jennifer Hudson did NOT get a face lift, despite a report.Extreme Entertainment can exclusively correct the claim, which comes from a certain webloid.
MediaTakeOut blares in a headline on Tuesday, “BRAND NEW JENNIFER???? Jennifer Hudson Shows Off Her NEW LOOK… Word On The Curb…Is She Got A FACE LIFT!! (PICS)” The accompanying story says, “R&B singer Jennifer Hudson was spotted leaving the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on Sept. 19. She was accompanied with friends while she was heading to her car. The rumor mill is BUZZING with reports that Jennifer, who is just 35 years old, had a FACE LIFT earlier this year.”
“Jennifer, who just celebrated her birthday a week ago, is just catching up on presents,” continues the site. “She’s been busy working. Her new album, JHud, is out now and she’s working on a new project called Sandy. Busy girl!”
But who’s been “buzzing” about Hudson getting plastic surgery? The outlet doesn’t say. And what proof is there that she underwent a face lift? There isn’t any, unless you count the before-and-after pictures posted by MTO… in which she looks pretty much the same. The only discernible difference between the shots is Hudson is smiling in the former, and appears to be mid-conversation in the latter.
Obviously, her face might look minutely different in those instances, considering she’s doing different things with different expressions. But by and large, the Oscar winner looks the same as she has for years. Now a rep for Hudson confirms exclusively to Extreme Entertainment that no, she did NOT have work done. In fact, the spokesperson calls MediaFakeOut’s speculative piece “ridiculous and idiotic.” That about sums it up.
