Jon Voight refused to take sides in Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce when he was grilled by paparazzi on Friday. Check out the video below.
As Extreme Entertainment reported, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt this past Monday, after two years of marriage and more than 10 years together overall. The actress made the decision to formally separate after an incident on a plane in which she and Pitt got into an argument. Son Maddox stepped in, and Pitt allegedly put his hands on him. Now the actor is being investigated for child abuse.
On Friday night, Voight was surrounded by inquisitive paparazzi as he left Madeo, a restaurant in West Hollywood. Almost immediately, he was asked, “How’s Angelina holding up after all this?” The actor replied, “I’m sure she’s doing fine.”
Then another photographer is heard saying, “You said the other day you’re supporting Brad through all this, too, John?” Voight insisted in response, “Listen, I’m concerned about, you know, anybody’s going through stuff, tough times, for the family and for the kids.” But the star shut the questioning down after a paparazzo fired off one more.
“What do you want to say Angie right now?” he was asked. Voight answered, “No, no guys, that’s it.” It’s unclear if he has been in touch with Jolie, from who he’s sometimes been estranged, since her breakup with Pitt.
