Ryan Lochte does NOT believe “Dancing with the Stars” is rigged because he lost a round on the most recent show, despite a made-up webloid report. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “total crap.”
As Extreme Entertainment reported, the Olympic swimmer and his dance partner, Cheryl Burke, received a lower score than race car driver James Hinchcliffe and dancer Sharna Burgess when both teams performed the cha cha during Monday’s “face-off” competition. RadarOnline is now claiming that after receiving his results, Lochte threw a fit backstage and rejected the notion Hinchcliffe performed better than him. “Ryan was actually telling people that he thought the show was rigged and that everyone was out to sabotage him,” a so-called “source” tells the website.
The outlet’s ill-informed source further alleges Lochte insisted it was “unfair” that he and Burke were put up against Hinchcliffe and Burgess, adding, “After they lost last night, Ryan was not even trying to hide his emotions. He was super upset and Cheryl was trying to console him, but he was not having any of it.” But Extreme Entertainment checked in with a rep for Lochte, who exclusively assures us this story is “total crap,” and the Olympian knows for sure the competition is very real.
In fact, this tall tale is coming from the same site Extreme Entertainment just corrected for falsely asserting Lochte was quitting “Dancing with the Stars” because he’s supposedly tired of it. There was no truth to that claim, and the same goes for the webloid’s latest fabrication surrounding the Olympian’s gig on the dance competition show.
