With all new episodes of Glee set to return in just a few short weeks, the third season of the smash series plans to surprise viewers with some seriously sweet cameos to kick off the new year! First up, Mr. “Livin’ la Vida Loca” himself, Ricky Martin.
After rumors swirled that Ricky would make an appearance on the show in 2012, Rachel Berry’s alter-ego Lea Michele confirmed the news and expressed her excitement through a series of tweets.
“Having so much fun on set with Ricky! He’s seriously the sweetest and such a great fit for our show!”
While this is the first time many members of the Glee cast have worked with Ricky, the New Years Eve starlet shared that she and the singing sensation have some history!
“I’ve known Ricky since I’m 8 years old! He was in Les Mis on Broadway with me in 1996! Crazy huh?!”
Though Ricky won’t be shaking his “bon bon” through the halls of McKinley High until later this year, as a self-proclaimed “Gleek,” I know I’ll be tuning in! Will you?!
