Hey, ya’ll! Britney may be sitting on the judges’ panel next to Simon Cowell on the next season of ‘The X Factor.’
Britney Spears, 30, is currently in negotiations to sign a contract with the reality show, and the deal may be finalized by next week, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The contract, according to E! News, is worth $10 million but the pop star, and mother of two, may be aiming for $16 million.
Simon Cowell, the shows creator and a judge on the show, hinted at several surprises in the upcoming weeks about the new judging panel but hasn’t confirmed if Britney will be a judge. As of right now, the show’s only judges include Simon and music producer L.A. Reid, after it was announced that fellow judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger would not be returning.
Britney would be a great choice for the judging panel. The show is currently missing the presence of a hugely successful recording artist and with more than 10 years of experience and 7 albums under her belt, Britney has the creds.
