The animal rights organization tells HollywoodLife.com that the Trumps’ behavior is ‘grisly.’
Donald Trump’s sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, went on a game safari in Zimbabwe last year that turned into quite the bloodbath. ”My sons love hunting,” Donald tells TMZ. “They’re hunters and they’ve become good at it.” But HollywoodLife.com has exclusively learned that not everyone was thrilled with their hunt.
Photos of Eric and Donald Jr.’s kills, including an elephant, crocodile, kudu, civet cat and waterbuck, have generated outrage from fans and animal rights organizations alike. One of the gruesome photos shows Donald Jr. holding a dead elephant’s tail in one hand and a knife which appears to have cut off the tail in his other, reports TMZ. A wildlife enthusiast’s website even created a YouTube video of the slaughter expressing its fury.
“Like all animals, elephants, buffalo, and crocodiles deserve better than to be killed and hacked apart for two young millionaires’ grisly photo opportunity,” a spokesperson from PETA exclusively tells us exclusively. ”If the young Trumps are looking for a thrill, perhaps they should consider skydiving, bungee jumping, or even following in their anti-hunting father’s footsteps and taking down competing businesses—not wild animals. If the Trumps want to help villagers, they have plenty of resources at their disposal.”
