Dick Clark to be Honored with Fan Confetti on New Year’s Eve in Times Square

Dick Clark will still be part of New Year’s Eve in Times Square.
Fans of the broadcasting legend, who died of a heart attack on Wednesday, will be able to write messages about Clark on pieces of confetti that will be used to shower midtown Manhattan when the clock strikes midnight next December 31.
Memories and tributes can be submitted online or written on square-inch confetti at the Times Square Visitor Center & Museum.
Clark hosted “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” for four decades, annually ushering in the New Year with masses gathered in Times Square and the millions watching on television.
The Times Square Alliance says the icon was “instrumental in making New Year’s Eve at the Crossroads of the World what it is today.”
