Vidal Sassoon has died.
He was 84.
The famed stylist and iconic fashion figure passed away at his Bel Air home.
Sassoon’s cause of death has not been disclosed, but he was diagnosed with leukemia in 2009.
Often credited as a founder of hairdressing, Sassoon launched salons and products that made his name synonymous with hair care.
Among his most famous creations was the modernized bob haircut of the 1960s.
He is survived by his fourth wife, Ronnie, and three children.
