Several outlets reported Wednesday that Lil Kim had some very harsh words forDrake in a new interview, allegedly calling him a “coward” (among other things) in the wake of hisentourage’s brawl withChris Brown at a New York club last week.
Supposedly asked for her thoughts on the Drake-Brown fight, Kim is quoted as telling the Phoenix New Times:
“I mean, people are so hard on Chris (Brown). He made a mistake, he owned up to it, and he and Rihanna have moved on with their lives. But since that incident it’s so easy to blame Chris. What I know about Drake is he is b**ch-made. Meaning he’s an instigator, and a p**sy. He had no issue stepping to Lil Kim, I’m like five feet tall. But he didn’t try stepping to Chris, a man, because he’s simply a coward. At the end of the day, you don’t gotta be a tough guy to be a rapper, but don’t dress up in Gangsta Drag when you a b**ch. Drake’s a bottom – y’all know what I mean when I say that.”
That’s all really intense – and also REALLY wrong.
Kim NEVER made those comments and NEVER gave an interview to the Times.
Of course, that didn’t stop a few untrustworthy blogs, which have practically no traffic at all, from trying to pass off the fabricated interview as legit.
Regardless, the rapper’s rep says the piece is nothing more than a “fictitious editorial,” noting fans should “disregard this nonsense and any other foolishness.”
And the Phoenix News Times‘ music editor tells Gossip Cop that despite claims, there are no plans to feature an interview with Kim “in any of our August issues,” and the publication is currently considering its legal options.
