“When the director yells cut, Lindsay Lohan takes a puff,” begins a piece from Us Weekly, which goes on to claim that while working on the upcoming Lifetime movie, “Liz & Dick,” the actress “is smoking two packs of cigarettes a day on the set.”
A so-called source tells the tab, “Literally every time she finishes a scene she lights up another cigarette… You can hear the crew saying, ‘That’s cut — get a cigarette for Lindsay.’”
“Lindsay has been working hard,” says the supposed insider, adding, “but without the nicotine she probably could not make it through as she appears stressed at times and they do seem to calm her down.”
While it’s true that Lohan sometimes smokes, the report about her blowing through 40 cigarettes a day is “way exaggerated,” says a source close to her.
And a good portion of the time, asGossip Cop has eyewitnessed, she smokes electronic cigarettes, which have far fewer health risks.
Her rep adds, “If someone is actually spending their day counting how many cigarettes Lindsay smokes a day, they need to get a life.”
Like so many other “Liz & Dick”-related tales about Lohan, this one also goes up in smoke.
