Despite a valiant effort, Katie Couric’s daytime talk show is struggling to find solid ground in the midst of it’s second season.
The syndicated show’s ratings challenges have fueled widespread rumors and speculation regarding the future of Katie.
On Monday, the New York Post reported in Page Six that the former Today host and CBS Evening News anchor may giving up on her talk show experiment and heading over to CNN where her former executive producer, Jeff Zucker, is now president of the network.
The latest rumor has sparked a sharp response from the TV icon. In a red carpet interview withEntertainment Tonight, Katie says:
“No, no, no. Honestly, slow news day?? I’m very busy doing my show and having a lot of fun doing it. The whole world is about gossip and rumors and speculation, but I’m very, very focused on doing the best show I can do every single day.”
