Robert Pattinson recently stopped by Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to spread some cheer to the patients and try his hand at some arts and crafts.

The Twilight star’s August 16 visit was kept secret until he appeared in the facility’s Teen Lounge.
Pattinson decorated picture frames with patients, mocked his “terrible” artistic skills, posed for pictures, and visited two fans with cystic fibrosis who were unable to leave their rooms.
Child Life specialist Ana Vega is quoted on the hospital’s website as saying, “Robert was so nervous about meeting the kids — he didn’t want to let them down — which is a testament to how humble he is.”
She adds, “He was incredibly gracious and kind. He will probably never fully understand what a huge lift he gave to these kids today, and how it will positively impact them over the long term.”
