Amanda Bynes’ lawyer says she’s mentally unfit to stand trial.
Rich Hutton appeared in court on Tuesday on behalf of the troubled actress, who was scheduled to face a judge in her 2012 DUI case.
According to TMZ, her attorney argued that Bynes lacks the mental capacity to understand the legal proceedings, and her case was subsequently transferred to mental health court for evaluation.
Last month, Bynes was placed under long-term psychiatric hold and legal conservatorship following several months of erratic behavior.
