Ed Sheeran, Cher, Miguel, and Ryan Tedder Named as New Mentors on The Voice

Ed Sheeran and Cher will serve as mentors on the upcoming fifth cycle of “The Voice,” NBC announced on Monday.

Sheeran will work with Christina Aguilera, while Cher is paired with Blake Shelton.

They’ll be joined by Miguel, who will serve as Cee Lo Green’s adviser, and Ryan Tedder, who will mentor alongside Adam Levine.

“This group of wildly successful musicians will add their distinctive talents to their respective teams,” said Paul Telegdy, NBC’s president of late night and alternative programming. “I know Christina, Adam, Cee Lo and Blake are very much looking forward to having them come aboard.”

Both Cher and Tedder (with his band OneRepublic performed on “The Voice” finale earlier this year.

The new episodes begin September 23.
