Kanye West is not happy with Jimmy Kimmel.
The Grammy-winning rapper took to Twitter on Thursday to blast the latenight host for his recent parody of West, which featured two children reenacting an interview Kanye did with BBC1.
“Jimmy Kimmel is out of line to try and spoof in any way the first piece of honest media in years,” the rapper wrote in a series of angry tweets. “I don’t take it as a joke…you manipulative media mutherfucker.”
West was referring to Kimmel’s recent parody clip dubbed “Kanye Kid (re)Kreation,” which recently played on Tuesday night’s “Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel.”
West, admittedly one of the most, um, emotional music artists today, said he went to Kimmel’s family wedding and that the interview was a result of paparrazi jumping over his well to take pictures of he and Kim Kardashian’s baby.
He said he’s the No. 1 rock star on the planet, whatever planet he’s on,” Kimmel joked before the segment.
“Does Kanye West know you’re not supposed to your own hype man?”
In a final jab, Kanye brought up Kimmel’s ex-girlfriend Sarah Silverman.
Kimmel immediately responded that he would explain the Kanye situation on Thursday night’s show.
